TORNADO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Kanawha County man was killed in a fatal ATV crash on the evening of Saturday, December 14, 2024.
According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Mark Wayne Snodgrass, 57, lost his life after crashing his ATV in the 1100 block of Gore Addition Road.
Investigators determined that Snodgrass drove his ATV off the roadway, causing it to roll over and strike a utility pole.
The injuries sustained in the crash were fatal.
Authorities believe that alcohol consumption and reckless driving were contributing factors in the incident.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the public about the importance of safe driving and avoiding the operation of any vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
