MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Sports media personality and former West Virginia University (WVU) standout Pat McAfee is bringing The Pat McAfee Show to Morgantown on Friday for a special live broadcast from the WVU Coliseum.
The show, which airs on ESPN, will celebrate the return of Rich Rodriguez as head coach of WVU’s football program.
Rodriguez, who coached McAfee during his time as a Mountaineer, will be officially introduced at a press conference scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Fans are invited to attend the live broadcast, with the Gold and Blue gates of the Coliseum opening at 10:30 a.m.
The event will serve as a kickoff to Rodriguez’s homecoming, marking his return to the program he previously led to national prominence.
Rodriguez updated his X profile (formerly Twitter) to reflect his new role as WVU’s head coach shortly after the official announcement.
In a celebratory post, he wrote, “Take me home!” referencing the state’s iconic anthem.
