LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia State Police say a body was discovered in a wooded area on Monday.
On Monday, June 24, 2024, Troopers R. S. Clagg and C. T. Daniels were sent by Lincoln County 911 to conduct a death investigation.
Upon reaching the scene at Taunton Drive in Harts, WV, they discovered the body of a deceased woman in a wooded area.
The WVSP Crime Scene unit arrived to process the scene, and the victim’s body was later transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Charleston, WV, for autopsy and Positive Identification.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
