MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A pregnant woman was sprayed with an air freshener and hit in the stomach over missing keys.
On July 28, 2024, WPD received a complaint from a female who stated that she and her husband, Roscoe Ware, had been in a verbal dispute over missing keys before they became physical.
The victim stated that Ware became enraged and sprayed her in the face with an air freshener and threw the aerosol can at her, striking her face and causing bruising and swelling. The victim further stated that Ware restrained her from leaving the home and calling for help. Ware allegedly hit the victim several times in the stomach, who is currently nine weeks pregnant.
Ware is charged with domestic battery and unlawful restraint.
