Charleston – Trailing by as many as 10 points in the first half, Beckley rallied to defeat regional rival Capital 63-61 Tuesday night.
Zyon Hawthorne led all scorers with 24 points for the Flying Eagles and Coby Dillon added 19 points in the win. Preston Clary chipped in eight for Beckley which hosts Princeton Thursday.
Grant Barclay led the Cougars with 18 points and Keyon Lykens scored 10.

Eli Campbell led the Patriots (7-1) with 16 points, including nine in the final quarter, while Peyton Bailes scored 12, with seven coming in the final eight minutes.
Justin Cooper and Jaden Gladwell added nine points each for Trail.
Gerald Lester paced the Tide with 13 points and Luke Tagliente had nine.

Malachi Lewis led four Oak Hill players in double figures with 19 points, followed by Trevor Kelly with 16 points. Levi Kiszka added 11 points and Andre White scored 10.
Gabe Patton had 19 for Greenbrier East and Brody Hamric finished with 14 points.

Princeton – The Patton brothers combined for 47 points to lead Mercer Christian Academy to a 68-29 win over Mount View Tuesday night.
Eli Patton led the way with 26 points, while M.J. Patton dropped in 21 points for the Cavaliers. M.J. Patton also had 11 assists, four steals and six deflections in the win.
Chance Watkins grabbed eight rebounds, four deflections and four steals, while Kyler Carpenter pulled down seven boards and also had four deflections.
Tavious Richardson led the Golden Knights with 10 points.
