CHARMCO – Midland Trail put itself back in the playoff picture with a 33-8 road win over Class A No. 11 Greenbrier West Friday.
Josh Dickerson tossed touchdown passes to Cody Harrell, Matt Light and Aden Isaacs and threw for 124 yards to lead the Patriots.
Harrell also scored on a 25-yard run, as did Robert Ruffner who rolled in from 60 yards out in the third quarter.
The Patriots (5-4) held a 369-226 total yardage advantage over the Cavaliers in the win.
Ty Nickell had the lone score for West (6-3) who now travels to Class A No. 4 (tie) Mount View Friday to close out its regular season.
Midland Trail hosts Pocahontas County in its season finale.
