Oak Hill – After falling behind 10-0 in the third quarter, Oak Hill came storming back with two scores to knock off Nicholas County 14-10 Friday and deliver Davon Marion his first win as a head coach.
Johan Villasenor gave the Grizzlies a 3-0 halftime lead before a 39-yard run from Coltin Browning pushed the lead to 10-0.
James Green trimmed the lead back to three points on a five-yard run late in the third quarter. J.D. Mauritz scored the game winner in the fourth quarter on a two yard dive.
Green had 75 yards on 12 totes and Levi Kiszka was 6-for-8 for 114 yards. Browning carried the ball 16 times for 65 yards and Coleton Hellems passed 113 yards.
Oak Hill will host Independence Friday, while Nicholas County travels to Shady Spring.
