RAINELLE, WV (WOAY) – A man is in jail after he allegedly struck a woman and breaking her jaw.
According to court documents, John Quick Jr. was drinking and got into an altercation with a woman. The altercation led Quick to hit the woman, which caused her to blackout. When she awoke, she said she was bleeding and in extreme pain. Quick was not at home with police went looking for him. They later found him in the road intoxicated.
The victim had to be transported to a different hospital for surgery.
Quick is charged with malicious assault and domestic battery. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 6,000 dollar bond.
