BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Veterans & First Responders Museum has announced a change in scheduling for its Annual Healing Fields event.
The Raleigh County Veterans & First Responders Museum, formerly the Raleigh County Veterans Museum, has announced that the organization’s Annual Healing Fields event will not be held on Veteran’s Day this year as has previously been the tradition.
Traditionally scheduled to be observed on November 11 of each year, the Annual Healing Fields event will now be observed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025, according to a recent announcement.
“The Healing Fields serve as a tribute to honor and remember the sacrifices made by veterans and first responders,” said the Raleigh County Veterans & First Responders Museum in an announcement. “This change allows for a meaningful alignment with Memorial Day, a day dedicated to honoring those who gave their lives in service to our country. Please mark your calendars as join us as we pay tribute on this special day!”
