CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Guests from the Kanawha County area and beyond have been making their way to the Charleston Dirty Birds ballpark to take in the exuberantly festive “Light the Night” Christmas light display.
The Christmas spirit was in full swing over the weekend as, on Saturday, guests took in the astounding sights and sounds of the display, which is choreographed to a soundtrack of classic Christmas tunes by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Burl Ives, and more.
Offered as part of the 2.5 million-plus-light spectacle were a lights maze and several themed areas within the display such as Winter Forest, Candy Land, and the Tunnel of Lights.
Additionally, those in attendance could warm up with some delicious s’mores and hot chocolate, or enjoy a number of thrill rides along with ice skating.
Younger guests have the opportunity to get their wiggles out through several themed bounce houses – including gingerbread and sleigh themed bounce areas – a sizable inflatable slide, and a carousel ride.
A variety of vendors were on hand to offer local products and services, and Saturday night attendees were treated to a special performances of beloved holiday tunes by the Hurricane Middle School Choir.
Presented by GoMart, Salango Law Dirty Birds “Light the Night” display is available for guests to enjoy into the new year, with January 1, 2025, set as the final chance to take in the spectacle.
