MOUNT AIRY, NC (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities have made a second arrest in connection with the death of 14-year-old Aydan Krishaun Dodson, who tragically lost his life due to blunt force trauma.
The Surry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, working alongside the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, announced the arrest of Kimberly Dodson White, 34, of Mount Airy. White was taken into custody on December 22, 2024, and is charged with first-degree murder and intentional child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury.
White, a resident of Southridge Drive, has already appeared in court and is currently being held without bond as the investigation continues.
Surry County Sheriff Steve C. Hiatt extended his condolences to Dodson’s family and the broader community, emphasizing the gravity of the ongoing investigation.
