FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Commission will convene on Wednesday for the commission’s Regular Session meeting at which the six month probation of a county employee is expected to be discussed.
Scheduled to begin at 9:00am on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the session will also see discussion of a medical cannabis dispensary, library expenditures, and more.
It was announced on Monday that members of the Fayette County Commission will also partake in a Special Session meeting at 9:45am. This session will entail a vote to accept all non-real assets from Fayette County URA per June 2024, as well as the authorization of Ruth Lanier, County Administrator, to complete all fiscal filings pertaining to the FCURA on behalf of Fayette County.
