RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) โ A Facebook Messenger conversation has led to a harassment investigation after a woman repeatedly received unwanted and inappropriate messages from an unknown sender.
On February 3, 2025, a women received a message from a Facebook account belonging to Les Lilly, whom she did not know. The message was derogatory in nature, referring to an individual named Randy. The woman responded by asking if she knew the sender but received no reply.
On February 13, Lilly messaged the woman again, this time with an inappropriate proposition. When the woman questioned his identity, Lilly vaguely responded, then dismissed further inquiries. The woman instructed him to stop messaging her, to which he initially agreed. However, he later sent another message despite her clear request.
Authorities were contacted, and on February 18, law enforcement interviewed Leslie Lilly regarding the messages. During the recorded interaction, Lilly admitted to sending the messages, acknowledging that he knew they were wrong and intended to annoy the victim. He also consented to having photographs taken of his phone as evidence.
Officials have confirmed that Lilly used his mobile device to intentionally harass the woman.
