Game 2: Wyoming East 14, Princeton 4 (5 innings)
Princeton – Wyoming East swept a doubleheader at Princeton Wednesday, beating the Tigers 5-0 in the first game and 14-4 in the second.
In the first game East pitcher Olivia Hylton was stellar, striking out 15 batters in the win. Lilly Hall provided both of East’s hits in the game, driving in two runs.
In the second game there was no shortage of hits for the visitors as Paige and Andrea Laxton both notched three hits, driving in three and two runs, respectively.
Savannah Brehm picked up the win in the circle for the Lady Warriors, driving in two runs on the offensive side. Hylton also drive in two runs, notching two hits.
East finishes the regular season at 13-10 and will host PikeView on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in a sectional game.

Coal City – Chloe Hart homered and Delaney Buckland struck out 13 as Independence rolled to a 14-1 win over PikeView Wednesday in Coal City.
The Lady Patriots compiled 14 hits in the win with all-stater Kaylen Parks racking up two doubles and driving in tow runs. Trista White finished with three hits as well for Indy. Hart led all batters, driving in three runs.
Indy will host Class AAA title favorite St. Albans Thursday at 6 p.m.
