HILLSBORO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A teenager is facing charges after he pushed his mother down and threatened to kill her, his grandmother, and their dogs.
According to Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Department, on Tuesday, October 18, 2922, a 911 call came in the Main Street area of Hillsboro. When deputies responded, they initially didn’t see anyone; however, minutes later, they were flagged down by a person in a car in the Presbyterian Church parking lot.
The witness, the suspect’s mother, stated that an altercation occurred at her home, in which her son, Foye McLemore IV, had become violent and had brandished a knife, threatening to kill her, his grandmother, and their dogs.
The mother said that her son then pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor and injuring her hand, which was bleeding. The grandmother arrived shortly after and told deputies the same information.
The mother said that the altercation began when she was going to retrieve a musical instrument that Foye had been using. While they were telling their story, the suspect was observed walking nearby with a knife in his pants. The knife was removed, and he was placed under arrest.
Foye is charged with domestic battery, domestic assault, and brandishing a deadly weapon. He is currently in jail.
