PEYTONA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three individuals are facing charges in connection with the recent theft of what authorities are calling “a substantial amount of active Frontier Communications phone line in the Peytona area.”
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Boone County Deputies received a call which triggered an investigation into the apparent theft of significant amounts of active phone line belonging to the Frontier Communications telecommunications company.
Through the investigation into the incident, Boone County Deputies were able to establish a connection between the stolen line and three individuals from the Racine area of Boone County.
On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the individuals found to be involved were arrested and were each charged with Grand Larceny, Felony Destruction of Property, and Disruption of Utilities/Services for their roles in the purported theft.
Suspects arrested in connection with the investigation include 21-year-old Elijah Deboard, 25-year-old Codie Viars, and 19-year-old Deziray Lanham, all from Racine, WV.
