BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Tickets are currently available for the Raleigh County Commission on Aging’s upcoming Fall Jamboree event, set to take place on November 1, 2024.
The event will take place at the Raleigh County Commission on Aging’s 1614 S. Kanawha Street location from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and will feature several performers as part of this year’s scheduled entertainment lineup.
Strings of Green will get the excitement going and GW Whittaker will perform at 5:20pm. Rick Lilly will bring his gospel stylings to the proceedings beginning at 6:10pm before Mike Kinkaid takes the stage to bring things to a close.
Event tickets are available for $5, with children granted free admission. Event concessions will offer a choice of spaghetti with a salad and drink for $8 or a bowl of the Raleigh County Commission on Aging’s award-winning chili along with a side and drink, also for $8. Additionally, a bake sale will be held, and chips will also be available for purchase.
The Fall Jamboree serves as the sole fundraiser held each year by the Raleigh County Commission on Aging, to proceeds from which will serve to benefit the array of programs offered to the community through the center.
Event tickets are currently on sale through October 30th, and raffle tickets which will allow one lucky winner to walk away with a WVU Football or Marshall University Football basket will be available beginning Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each or three for $12 and the raffle winner will be announced at the Fall Jamboree event.
The WVU Football basket will contain a WVU throw blanket, license plate frame, keychain, extra-large t-shirt, 18-ounce tumbler, umbrella, and a pair of tickets to a WVU home game. The Marshall University Football basket will contain a tote bag, extra-large t-shirt, 24-ounce tumbler, license plate frame, keychain, throw blanket, and two tickets to the November 16, 2024, home game against Coastal Carolina.
