FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two people are charged after stealing a generator from Lowe’s.
On June 12, 2024, the police received a complaint from Lowes Asset Protection regarding a theft at the Fayetteville Lowe’s store.
According to the report, a male and female entered the store, took a Honda EU 2200-watt inverter generator from aisle 25, and left the store without paying for it. The stolen product is valued at $1,099.00.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspects leaving in a black Ford Ranger with North Carolina registration REW3556.
The suspects were identified as Mark Steven and Diana Stevens. Police found Mark Steven’s North Carolina driver’s license, matching the suspect in the surveillance video. They also located Diana Stevens’s Maryland driver’s license, confirming her identity.
Based on the evidence, a warrant was issued for grand theft and felony conspiracy for both suspects.
