CHESAPEAKE, OH (LOOTPRESS) – A domestic violence incident on October 30 left three people injured in Chesapeake, Ohio, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. at a residence on County Road 1.
Authorities say Dimitri Callens, 26, of Township Road 293 in Chesapeake, arrived at the home to confront his ex-girlfriend, whom he had seen with another person at a restaurant in Huntington earlier in the evening.
An argument broke out, during which Callens allegedly brandished a machete and attacked two people.
Harold E. Maynard, 53, of South Point, Ohio, was stabbed in the neck and hand, and Harold M. A. Maynard, 20, also of South Point, suffered a stab wound to the hand.
As Callens fled the scene, he reportedly struck 48-year-old Willa Maynard, also of South Point, with his vehicle.
All three victims were taken to Huntington, WV hospitals by Lawrence County EMS. None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
Deputies later arrested Callens at his home without incident.
He faces three counts of Felonious Assault and may face additional charges as the investigation continues, according to Sheriff Jeff Lawless.
