LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The performance lineup one of the year’s most highly anticipated live events in Southern West Virginia, Healing Appalachia 2024 has been announced.
Returning as the headlining act for the event will singer/songwriter Tyler Childers. Kentucky rock act, My Morning Jacket will be taking the stage as well, along with country singer/songwriter Shooter Jennings, son of legendary country music musician Waylon Jennings.
Other notable performers scheduled to play include West Virginia’s own Sierra Ferrell and Raleigh County-based alternative/pop/rock outfit, Alabaster Boxer.
“We’re beyond stoked to take part in this incredible event and to see you all in Lewisburg this September for Healing Appalachia 2024!,” said Alabaster Boxer in a statement. “Not only does this event hit close to our hearts as we know it does for many of you, it is something we’re absolutely PROUD of here in WV for the work, awareness, and impact Healing Appalachia creates.”
The event is scheduled to take place from September 19 – September 21 at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in Lewisburg, WV.
Founded in 2016, Healing Appalachia has worked to raise awareness and encourage inclusivity with regard to recovery in Appalachia. The organization’s mission has been rooted in connecting and growing recovery and healing communities throughout Appalachia.
Ticket prices for the event will include all three days of live music as well as free primitive camping at the fairgrounds site. Additional information is available at the Healing Appalachia website.
