CABELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man described as the “ultimate warrior” enters home and when asked to leave he tried to get into the victim’s car. He was found hiding in the grass.
On October 6, 2024, at approximately 2:13 PM, a male victim reported that Todd Thompson entered his Cabell County, Huntington, WV residence through an unlocked front door. After being confronted by the victim, Thompson attempted to enter a silver Nissan Altima parked in the driveway belonging to the victim’s wife.
The male victim, outside at the time, was alerted by his wife, who came running to him, saying a man was in their house. He entered the home and found Thompson on the porch, holding cash. He described the suspect as an older white male with pink curly hair and light blue face tattoos, resembling “the ultimate warrior.” After ordering Thompson to leave, the suspect tried to enter the parked Altima. The male victim again yelled at Thompson to leave, prompting the man to flee westbound on 8th Avenue.
Police officers later found Thompson hiding in the grass on 28th Street. He was taken into custody around 2:50 PM and returned to the victim’s residence. The male victim confirmed Thompson’s identity as the man he had confronted. In her written statement, the wife described sitting on the couch with her infant son when she noticed the front door opening, thinking it was her husband. Instead, a man with pink hair, tattoos, and a hospital wristband entered.
Thompson now faces charges of burglary and breaking into an auto for the incident.
