BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Community members have been invited to a Christmas Festival event next month at the United Methodist Temple in Beckley.
The festival event, hosted in partnership with Sophia and Mabscott United Methodist Churches and Beckley Community, will be free to attend to all who wish to join the festivities, and will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, on December 7, 2024.
The recreation building of Beckley’s United Methodist Temple, The Place, located at 201 Templeview Drive behind the Hyundai Dealership on Robert C. Byrd, will serve as the venue for the event.
Featured as part of the community event will be complimentary refreshments, cookie decorating, crafts, tours of an actual fire engine, photos with Santa, and games with prizes. Attendees will also be entered for a chance to win door prizes, including a $100 Walmart gift card.
Children in attendance will be invited to hear the story of the birth of Jesus, and families will receive an artist’s gift of a silhouette of children’s profiles.
