MASON COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) โ A woman was arrested after trespassing and refusing to comply with police at a Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Point Pleasant on February 22, 2025.
Authorities responded to a trespassing complaint at the Piggly Wiggly on 305 3rd Street and found Alesha Knight sitting by the storeโs entrance. Officers had previously trespassed her from the property earlier that day.
When asked to stand and place her hands behind her back, Knight refused to comply, stating she was not going to jail. She continued to resist officersโ commands.
Police noted that an empty vodka bottle was in front of Knight and that she smelled of alcohol and exhibited slurred speech.
Knight was taken into custody.
