SUMMERSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Fire crews in Summersville began the new year with a snow plow fire.
According to the Summersville Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at 1:27 AM Wednesday for a snow plow fire.
The plow belonged to the West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH).
“Well we got the year off with a bang,” the Summersville Fire Department said in a Facebook post.
The fire was quickly extinguished when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The cause of the fire has not been released, but photos posted by the fire department show the snow plow to be a total loss.
